On March 2, 2026, Financial University hosted a festive event dedicated to its 107th anniversary. The celebration was organized by the Financial University Department of Extracurricular Activities and Social Work and featured a diverse and engaging interactive program for students and staff alike.
Alexander Kozharinov, Vice-Rector for Extracurricular Activities and Social Work, highlighted:
"Our university is remembered by alumni not just for academic achievements, but for its lively extracurricular life — festivals, conferences, and informal gatherings. These experiences are equally important, as they foster a true sense of community, friendship, and even future families. Moments like these stay with people for a lifetime, filling their hearts with warm memories of university life."
Participants enjoyed themed activity stations where they could decorate their own festive caps and win university-branded prizes in a lucky draw. Delicious treats such as popcorn and cotton candy were available for everyone. Attendees also had the opportunity to leave their mark by decorating a vibrant themed wall, while students took photos with instant-print cameras and signed heartfelt wishes in a commemorative album, filled with words of love and pride for their Alma mater.
One students Artem and Yaroslav, 2nd-year students of the Faculty of International Economic Relations shared:
“Dear Financial University, you have become more than just a place of study — you are a second home and even a family. You’ve given us invaluable knowledge, experience, and countless opportunities for growth. Happy 107th birthday! We wish you continued success and prosperity. May our big family keep growing – welcoming talented students who will go on to become professionals and proud graduates of this great university. Happy birthday, our beloved university!”
The event, which brought students and staff together in a warm, lively atmosphere, was filled with tasty treats, fun activities, and lots of positive energy — leaving everyone in a great mood and with lasting memories.
