The Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation is participating in the 11th International Smart Cities India Expo 2026, held from March 23 to 25 at the Bharat Mandapam complex in New Delhi. Representing the university’s Continuing Professional Development (CPD) initiatives, the delegation is highlighting innovative educational solutions designed for the global high-tech and business sectors.
The University’s participation is part of the Moscow Government’s official delegation, led by Sergey Cheremin, Minister of the Moscow Government, Head of the Department for External Economic and International Relations, and Chairman of the Business Council for Cooperation with India.
Operating within the Moscow Government stand, the Financial University is showcasing how academic excellence supports urban digitalization, transport, and environmental safety. Olga Prokudina, Director of the Higher School of Management and Technology, and Alla Filyushkina, Director of the Center for International Educational Programs, presented a specialized portfolio of CPD and business education programs tailored for international professionals.

A central focus of the exhibition has been the expansion of the flagship "Doing Business in Russia" program. This initiative has shown significant growth, with 80 international students completing the course in 2025, including over 50 professionals from the Republic of India.
"Our presence at Smart Cities India Expo 2026 underscores our commitment to fostering international professional exchange," stated Alla Filyushkina. "By providing targeted educational frameworks, we enable global entrepreneurs to navigate the Russian market and implement smart city technologies effectively."
During the event, representatives from the Higher School of Management and Technology are conducting high-level negotiations to further scale these educational offerings and strengthen partnerships with Indian technological and business entities.
