The Preparatory Faculty of the Financial University is the leading institution in the pre-university training system. Our primary goal is to help foreign citizens who do not speak Russian receive high-quality preparation for admission to the Financial University, as well as to any other higher education institution in the Russian Federation.
The program is taught in four key areas:
Upon successful completion of the curriculum and passing the final exams, students receive a certificate of completion from the Preparatory Faculty—a document that opens the door to admission to the country's leading universities.
Every year, more than 200 students from 65 countries study within the faculty’s walls.
Among them are citizens of India, China, Vietnam, Mongolia, Korea, Sri Lanka, Japan, Nigeria, Angola, Zambia, Kenya, Mexico, Italy, Greece, Bulgaria, Syria, Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Madagascar, Peru, Bolivia and many other countries.
This diversity creates a unique intercultural environment and helps to quickly adapt to the new educational system.

At the Preparatory Faculty of the Financial University, student life is full of energy and activities. From the moment they arrive in Russia, students are encouraged to participate in a variety of events and clubs. Student Life at the Preparatory Faculty is a Unique Adventure!
The Preparatory Faculty offers a one-year program in the Russian language designed for further admission to bachelor’s, specialist’s, master’s, or doctoral programs (profiles: economic, humanitarian, engineering and technical).
The duration of study is 1 year (2 semesters).
The start date for studies at the Preparatory Faculty Faculty is September.
Application submissions for the Preparatory Faculty are accepted from July 1 to December 1, 2026.
The tuition fee for is 310,000 rubles per year.
After successful completion of studies at the Preparatory Faculty, students will get a Certificate.
Students who do not pass the exams can request a document of study with a list of studied disciplines and their hours.

I. Issuance of Invitations for Entry into the Russian Federation
Without 50% payment the invitation cannot be issued.
II. Registration of Migration Documents.
Within 2 days of entering Russia, you must provide

The university assists international students in concluding an insurance contract immediately after arrival.
Note! All documents and medical certificates must be translated into Russian. Translations must be done at Russian Embassies or Consulates abroad or by notary offices in Moscow.
Form 086/u (can be issued in Moscow), which includes: examination by a general practitioner, surgeon, neurologist, ophthalmologist, ENT specialist (otorhinolaryngologist), as well as general blood and urine tests.
Ensure you have sufficient funds to cover tuition fees, medical insurance, and accommodation in a hall of residence.
