Educational Program for African Specialists: Implementation Update
A working meeting with Yan Talbatsky, Deputy Head of Rostrud, was held via videoconference. Participants discussed progress on the joint educational program "Labour Market Management and Employment" implemented by the Financial University  in collaboration with Rostrud. The program is delivered in French for trainees from Burkina Faso and Burundi.
Representing the Financial University were Elena Didenko, Vice Rector for Continuing Education; Alla Kanke, Director of the International Business School (Institute); and Svetlana Zhukova, Acting Director of the Vladimir Branch.
Key discussion topics included program implementation, field research activities, and preparations for the African trainees' upcoming internship visit to Russia in April 2026. The internship will centre on project-based work led by the participants.
The regional branches of the Financial University are increasingly serving as platforms for international continuing professional education programs, working in close coordination with the central unit in Moscow—the International Business School.
