Student Exchange Program is an unforgettable experience that allowed me to take a fresh look at things that are familiar to me. This was my first encounter with Asian culture, and it exceeded all my expectations! China is a country of incredible beauty with traditional architecture, kind people, spicy food, stunning views and amazing culture! I was lucky to live in Shandong, the province of Confucius himself, where people exude kindness and warmth and everyone is ready to help you.
With no doubt, it was one of the best periods of my life! During my 4 months in China, I managed to visit 9 cities, conquer 5 mountains, learn Chinese, climb the Great Wall of China and have fun at Disneyland. I also got an opportunity to study the life of Confucius, become a special guest at a city beauty pageant, get acquainted with the inner workings of global Chinese companies like King & Queen and Sinotruk and most importantly, completely immerse myself in the local culture!

My semester abroad will forever be one of the best periods of my life. Spending six months to study on another continent in a country like Argentina is a dream come true. These six months have been extremely eventful, and I made friends with fellow students from different parts of the world from Bolivia and the USA to Germany and France. I learned a lot about the cultures of other countries and transformed my view of the world. I was completely enthralled by charismatic and experienced professors during the lessons.
What impressed me most was the country itself. I fell in love with Argentina and its picturesque waterfalls, glaciers, vineyards, and beautiful ocean coasts with whales and seals. Also I can’t help but mention the wonderful local cuisine. Argentines are very open and responsive and are always eager to help. In addition, during these six months I managed to improve my Spanish significantly. To sum up, deciding to participate in the Student Exchange Program is one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life, and I am immensely grateful to FinU for giving me such opportunity.
Lovely Professional University (India)
India is an amazing country with a rich culture and history. It is very interesting to observe the lives of people in a culture that is completely different from the European one. Lively streets and roads, varied and delicious cuisine.
LPU has a very large and comfortable campus, and I highly recommend living on the university’s premises. The wonderful international team can help you with any questions and will personally accompany you to show you both the university grounds and nearby places off campus. It is also worth noting that the university offers excursions to explore the local culture, which can be a budget-friendly way to immerse yourself in the culture.
Shandong University of Finance and Economics (China)
I have always dreamt of studying in China. I was attracted by the opportunity to get acquainted with the Chinese culture, traditions, unusual architecture and practice the language. In the fall of 2023, my dream finally became a reality as I got a chance to spend a semester at the Shandong University of Finance and Economics. I greatly improved my Chinese skills and became fluent by attending language courses provided by the university and communicating with native speakers.
In addition to learning the language, I managed to see 11 Chinese cities, with 6 of them located in Shandong province. I climbed 5 mountains, visited the Great Wall of China twice, swam in the sea in Qingdao and toured the Forbidden City in Beijing. A semester abroad in China was a unique opportunity for me since I gained valuable knowledge and skills when communicating not only with native speakers, but also with other foreign students.
