Teymur Amirov

Azerbaijan

I am from Azerbaijan. In 2021, I served in the army, returned home and decided to study at a good university abroad. I have wanted to learn Russian since childhood and therefore decided to study in Russia and here I am. I study at the Pre-University Faculty of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation. Here students begin to learn the Russian language from the alphabet, that is, from scratch. I was surprised when after just 2-3 months I could understand conversations in Russian and even participate in them. How we study at the Pre-University Faculty where we study not only the Russian language, but also special disciplines such as Social Studies, Fundamentals of Economics, Fundamentals of Public Administration, Mathematics, Geography and Computer Science. Also, we have interesting excursions where we get to know Moscow, Russian culture, and history. In addition, there are often student concerts in which all students can participate. There are also many sports events held at our Faculty, for example, I participated in one of them, which was very interesting and useful for me.

Pinazo Yoshikazu

My name is Pinazo Yoshikazu. I am studying at the Pre-University Faculty of the Financial University. I've met a lot of people since I came to Moscow. I've made a lot of good friends. My Russian teacher is patient with us, her name is Gretta. She is always ready to answer all our questions. The staff of the Dean's office are also always ready to help us. They speak English, so that's good. I arrived in Moscow in September. I like Moscow because there is something to do here. It's a big city. The Pre-University Faculty sometimes hosts such events as excursions, games with other students, Russians and foreigners. I feel welcome at this University.

Hallak Kondakji Alaa

Syria

My name is Hallak Kondakji Alaa, I am from Syria. I came to Moscow a year ago to study. I asked friends who study in Moscow, and they told me about the FinU, I started studying at the Pre-University Faculty 7 months ago, and I learned Russian: I learned to read, speak, write, and now I already write well, speak and read in Russian, I also study mathematics, computer science, social studies geography, etc., these are not difficult subjects. The teachers are very good, they explain everything well and speak slowly, the dean's office is also good, people who work there help all students. I think the University is better than in Syria, this is a great merit of the Russian language teacher, because she always explains everything very well and slowly, thank her.

Tumendemberal Anuzhin

Mongolia

My name is Tumendamberal Anuzhin. In November 2021, I came to Moscow from Mongolia. In the 2021-2022 academic year, I studied at the Pre-University Faculty, at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation. For the first time in a foreign country (I used to live only in Mongolia) I lived in a residence hall and made friends with foreign students. Thus, thanks to international students, I learned more about the culture, lifestyle, and socio-economic conditions of other countries. And our Pre-University Faculty is like a compass. Here the best and most qualified teachers who speak English, they are more competent than the teachers of Mongolia, teach us Russian. And they always help us. The Pre-University Faculty holds events for qualified university teachers, responsible colleagues, and international students. I really like friendly foreign students, kind teachers and a good Pre-University Faculty. I will never forget how I studied at the Pre-University Faculty, how I lived in Moscow, what friends I had. Studying here was very interesting for me, everything was wonderful.

Nguyen Thi Zoan An

Vietnam

My name is Nguyen Thi Zoan An. I study in the 6th group at the Pre-University Faculty. I came from Vietnam. I have already studied Russian for 9 months with teacher Gretta. For me, the study program at the FinU is very good. My teachers are enthusiastic and always support international students. The program is suitable for my abilities, although I have not studied Russian before. I also appreciate the Pre-University Faculty for the fact that it always takes care of foreign students, when we entered, I was very carefully guided. I think the number of students in the group is optimal. There are 9 people in my group. Since there are not many people, everyone can support each other. During our studies, we managed to participate in many extracurricular programs of the Faculty, so that students could get to know each other. I hope to get good results in the upcoming exam after a semester of hard work.

Arslan Ferhat

My name is Arslan Ferhat. Before entering the Financial University, I had concerns like an ordinary foreign student, but after arriving I saw that this University cares about its students and does its best to help them. FinU already offers you a good education by choosing the best teachers, like my current one. I didn't want to stay in the residence hall until I arrived because I thought it would be inconvenient for me to stay with someone else, but my roommate is a very nice person and I say I feel good. Because there is a social sphere in the residence hall, and it helps you develop the language. The people working at the Dean's office help you in everything, thanks to everyone individually. They appreciate foreign students very much and are always friendly. I don't regret choosing this University because my teacher is a very good person, my roommate is a good person, and our Dean always helps us. Our residence hall and our University are very conveniently located, everything is around us, and you are a 10-minute drive from the center. For the best year with this University.

Priya Pathak

India

Hello! I want to congratulate you all on the new academic year! My name is Priya, I am from India. In 2020, I entered the FinU and studied at the Pre-University Faculty. Due to the global situation, I could not come and studied remotely. But I don't regret it at all, because every day we studied as if we were really in class together! We did various tasks, listened to music, played, discussed the news and we have only the best memories. Our teacher has always supported us, and the Dean's office has always helped. Now I have entered the master's degree program at the Moscow State Stroganov Academy of Design and Applied Arts. Therefore, if you have not yet arrived in Russia, I advise you not to be sad! We, all of us, will succeed! The Pre-University Faculty of the FinU will teach you Russian, and you will be able to make your dream come true!

Sary Asude

Saeed Abanub Nabil Besada

Egypt

The knowledge of the Russian language that I received at the FinU at the Pre-University Faculty changed my life! Now I am studying at the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia. I can easily and freely communicate with my friends, I can read and study my subjects without any problems, and most importantly, I am no longer afraid to communicate when I talk to teachers, friends, or strangers. Today I have a lot of Russian friends, and I am very glad that I was able to learn Russian. I recommend the Pre-University Faculty of the FinU to everyone. Here you will start speaking Russian in a year without any problems!

Alsadi Alaa Mohammad Amin

Jordan

My experience of studying at the Pre-University of the FinU. I am a foreign student, and Arabic is my native language, and initially studied in English. Now I'm going to get a master's degree in Russian. I am a person who likes challenges. The Pre-University Faculty adopted online education due to the COVID-19 pandemic, as did the rest of the world. Last year, it all started with the fact that I was added to an online group and all my classes were held online. I would like to note that the teachers and the administration were always in touch, answered at any time and helped in everything! Our teacher, Elena Vorobyova, is amazing! She was ready to work with students who don't speak Russian, and took it upon herself to prepare us for the next mission. Elena Vorobyova was patient, intelligent and happy to repeat as many times as necessary so that we understood the Russian language. Then there was Ekaterina Popova from the Dean's office (Ms. Magic), an energetic person, a lady of solutions. Ekaterina Popova provided all the necessary support as needed. The Dean of the Faculty Svetlana Morokhina has always helped in solving complex issues. A year passed, we graduated, the borders with Jordan opened and I went to Russia. It was there that I had a chance to meet Anton Fenev from the FinU International Students and Teachers Directorate. I am satisfied with my experience, I can speak Russian and I want to say “Thank you very much!" to all those who helped me, and those with whom, unfortunately, I did not meet personally. We may not have been lucky enough to learn Russian in class, offline, but we are lucky that we have the international support of the FinU.
