In recent years, postgraduate studies have predominantly focused on the development of mathematical methods and software packages for robotic solutions that are beginning to be actively implemented in such areas as agriculture, medicine, and transport. We invite people who want to develop new mathematical models and software for revolutionary systems – robots for harvesting, drones for automatic care of plantings, smart gardens, and greenhouses as well as robots for medical diagnostics, patient care, etc. We are waiting for those who want to be the first in the world to develop advanced intelligent solutions to make the world a better place!

  • Doctor of Economics, Professor.
  • Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology and Big Data Analysis, Head of the Department of Data Analysis and Machine Learning.
  • Winner of the Prof. Ovsievich Award, winner of the CEEMAN Champion Award of the CEEMAN Management Development Association, three times winner of the Project of the Year Award of the Official IT Directors Community of Russia GlobalCIO. 
  • He has been working in the field of data processing and analysis technologies since 1990. During this time, he has implemented many projects for companies from the financial industry and the real sector of the economy in the field of financial market analysis, smart manufacturing modeling, industrial, financial, and educational Internet of Things, as well as in the field of artificial intelligence and data processing. 
  • Authored over 20 books, more than 100 scientific articles and more than 30 articles in professional IT journals.

Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science

PhD students form ideas about computer science in the context of artificial intelligence systems, machine learning, neural networks, and heuristic optimization methods.

Mathematical Modeling, Numerical Techniques and Software Packages

In the process of studying the discipline, PhD students get acquainted with the basic concepts and provisions of mathematical modeling, numerical techniques, and software complexes necessary for further use in research activities.

Modern Technologies of Simulation and Agent Modeling

PhD students study theory and practice of simulation and agent modeling in practical applications of modeling of production, trade, and finance. In particular, special attention is paid to the development of digital twins of enterprises. The program provides for the implementation of practical applications in the Anylogic environment.

Modern Problems of Game Theory and Decision-Making

The modern achievements of the theory of cooperative, non-cooperative and dynamic games with applications to competition modeling problems are studied.

Modern Problems of Stochastic Financial Mathematics

Modern models of asset pricing are studied, starting from the classical models of Bachelier, Black–Scholes–Merton, described by stochastic differential equations, and ending with modern martingale models of arbitrage theory. The problems of optimal management of financial assets are also considered.

Big Data Processing Technologies

It is planned to study, first of all, technologies for processing large volumes of unstructured information using graph and document-oriented databases.
