Our program is intended for those who are interested in the process of obtaining extraordinary results and getting explanations of non-obvious processes. Our program will appeal to those who do not give up when the model once again turns out to be insufficiently accurate and try new approaches again and again, recheck the calculations and describe the process, proving to their opponents their standpoint.

Those who do this PhD degree are special. Those are the ones who determine the essence of the process, because only their methods can reproduce the model of the financial and economic process. Those are the ones who do not accept any authoritative statements in good faith until they themselves perform a computational experiment. Those are the ones who are turned to when it is necessary to get a reasonable answer “what to do and who is to blame”. Those are the ones whose methods protect information security and whose algorithms determine the operation of information systems of economic entities.

Mathematical and Instrumental Methods of Economics

Explanation and analysis of both classical and innovative methods that use new information technology capabilities. Clustering methods.

Information Technology and Business Model Transformation

The course studies and analyzes changes in the business environment and information technology, studies startup processes, and develops product ideas and services.

Instrumental Methods and Information Technology for Modeling Complex Systems

The discipline is dedicated to studying methods and technologies of modeling complex systems. The course studies sections of system dynamics, agent-oriented modeling, and simulation modeling. A special place is given to graph modeling, which is of particular importance when working with non-numeric data.

Technical Tools for Financial Time Series Analysis

The course is devoted to the analysis of exchange technology models. The discipline is based on the analysis of time series of financial assets indicators and their derivatives. The course finishes with the tasks of implementing the simplest mechanical trading robots.

Models and Methods of Nonlinear Dynamics

The discipline focuses on forming professional competencies of graduates in the field of modeling and forecasting of economic processes, primarily processes in the financial market.

Methodology of System Analysis in Economics

The main purpose of studying the discipline is to develop the ability of improving information technology for solving economic problems and their effective expansion into new economic applications.
