Program description

The program Personnel Management is a new generation program which was developed on the basis of the educational standard of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation.  

The program is aimed at developing the main professional competencies in managing human resources in an organisation, distributing functions, powers and responsibilities, using modern personnel-technologies in the field of motivation and stimulation of labor, personal, and social development of personnel, as well as  improving labor relations.

Upon completion of the program, graduates will be able to

  • Develop and implement the corporate HR strategy of the organization in accordance with the development strategy of the organization.
  • Develop and implement a policy of attracting, recruiting and selecting competitive personnel.
  • Develop and implement programs for the development, remuneration and evaluation of the organization’s personnel, based on the strategic goals of the organization.
  • Develop sound proposals for improving the personnel management system based on an analysis of its effectiveness.
  • Solve problems in the field of human resource management by creating new technologies, expanding the existing practice of applying applied economic and managerial knowledge in conditions of risk and uncertainty.
  • Evaluate the economic and social effectiveness of measures to improve the personnel management system.

Career

Our alumni are employed as heads of the departments of personnel management, organization and remuneration, the personnel training and development, or the social development. Functional responsibilities correspond to the labor functions of the 7th qualification level of the professional standard “Personnel Management Specialist”.
