Program description

We live in an era of global profession change. Few people in the market prepare the younger generation for new specialties in demand. FinU offers a fundamental solution to the problem of training a new specialists’ generation, namely, it offers a unique program of double-degree diplomas “International Communications and Corporate Culture”. This program combines, on the one hand, the training of highly professional interpreters and linguists with fluency in two foreign languages, capable of conducting linguistic analysis and interpretation of various text styles in synchronic and diachronic aspects, predicting the nature of communication and modeling potential communication situations between representatives of different cultures and societies and choosing adequate communication strategies to ensure effective communication, representatives of various cultures and societies. On the other hand, the program trains highly qualified specialists of international level in media communications, capable of managing creative media teams, developing, and implementing strategic and creative solutions, business models and projects. Thus, a balanced combination of skills of two qualifications makes alumni of this program the most competitive and in demand in the modern labor market.

Upon completion of the program, graduates will be able to

  • Organize and maintain contacts with business partners in Russian and foreign languages, using systems for collecting the necessary information to expand external relations and exchange experience in the projects’ implementation aimed at the organization development (enterprise, state, or municipal government)
  • Carry out intercultural communication in accordance with accepted norms and rules in various situations of business communication

Upon completion of the program, graduates will be able to make written and oral translations, conduct linguistic analysis of texts, develop, and use new multimedia communication strategies, organize integrated communication campaigns, manage internal communication to optimize business processes, manage the multimedia content production, organize content distribution across various platforms to reach the target audience. Among possible alumni jobs there are interpreter, translator, linguist, speechwriter, PR analyst, media analyst, media manager, editorial director.
