Program description

The program is aimed at studying the main world standards – International Financial Reporting Standards and International Auditing Standards. The only program that allows you to gain in-depth professional knowledge of all the current IFRS systems. The program is accredited by ACCA.

Upon completion of the program, graduates will be able to

  • Master the transformation methodology of companies’ financial statements compiled according to Russian standards into the IFRS format.
  • Know the main indicators characterizing the socio-economic responsibility of the business, and the ability to calculate them.
  • Know the existing corporate governance models in the world and be able to substantiate proposals for improving Russian legislation in this area.
  • Conduct an external audit of the financial statements of any economic entities.
  • Know and have skills of conducting internal control/audit of economic entities’ activities in various industries.
  • Have a full set of knowledge in the field of modern accounting and auditing and be able to provide consulting services in these areas to stakeholders.

Key disciplines of the concentration

International Financial Reporting Standards (Advanced Course) (partially in English)

Study of international financial reporting standards to form knowledge and skills of interpretation and analysis of financial statements for management decision-making.

Consolidation and Transformation of Financial Statements (partially in English)

The academic discipline outlines the current methods of consolidation and transformation of financial statements of companies.

International Auditing Standards (partially in English)

The discipline reveals the content of the international auditing standards included in the system, and shows the practical aspect of the application of standards.

International Financial Reporting Standards for Small and Medium-Sized Businesses

The discipline contains educational material covering all sections of the current IFRS for SMEs.
