Program description

The program is aimed at training personnel to work in specialized departments in financial and credit organizations, specialized structural units to ensure the economic security of public authorities at all levels, municipalities, large companies and corporations, and other business entities, regardless of ownership and capitalization level, consulting, auditing, insurance companies, investment and leasing companies, organizations engaged in foreign economic activity and in other sectors of the economy, law enforcement and other regulatory bodies, expert institutions and includes activities: consulting, organization and conduct of financial investigations; detection and prevention of corporate fraud; prevention of corruption offenses; in the field of financial services, loans and other types of credit; transactions with securities and commodities; in the field of accounting, financial audit, tax consulting.

Engaged in developing and implementing anti-fraud and corruption systems, compliance systems with Russian and leading international standards, fraud and corruption detection programs and the procedure for their investigation, fraud and corruption risk assessment, the development of specific measures and procedures to reduce them, the implementation of hotlines, automation of controls at various levels, conducting training, organization of expert support of arbitration and criminal proceedings. 
  • Authored monographs and publications in periodicals on the topic of ensuring economic security, risk analysis, combating corruption and fraud.

Glotov Vladimir Ivanovich

  • Professor, Doctor of Economics.
  • Deputy Director of the Federal Financial Monitoring Service, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences. 
  • Full State Councilor of the Russian Federation 2nd class. 
  • He was awarded the Order “For Services to the Fatherland", IV degree, the Order of Friendship. 
  • Has a Russian Federation Presidential Certificate of Honor. He is responsible for implementing Rosfinmonitoring powers by the central office divisions and territorial bodies in the areas of international cooperation as well as anti-corruption. 
  • Coordinates and interacts Rosfinmonitoring with the UN, ATG, BRICS, Moneyval, G20, CSTO, SCO, Eurasian Group on Combating Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism, the Secretariat and working groups of the EAG.

Upon completion of the program, graduates will be able to

  • Identify questionable transactions and transactions subject to mandatory control as the main element of combating money laundering and financing of terrorism.
  • Identify and conduct internal investigations of corporate fraud in the activities of organizations.
  • Identify and conduct internal investigations of fraud and corruption in the activities of budget organizations.
  • Analyze and predict the main socio-economic indicators, to propose strategic directions of economic development at the micro, meso and macro levels.
  • Apply innovative technologies, methods of system analysis and modeling of economic processes in setting and solving economic problems.
  • Identify and prevent the risks of corruption offenses.

Specialized compliance control units in financial and credit organizations (Letter of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation No. 173-T dated 2.11.2007 “On the Recommendations of the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision”), specialized structural units to ensure the economic security of public authorities at all levels, municipalities, large companies and corporations, and other business entities, regardless of ownership forms and capitalization level, consulting, auditing (Big Four companies), insurance companies, investment and leasing companies, organizations engaged in foreign economic activity and in other sectors of the economy, law enforcement and other regulatory authorities, expert institutions KPMG and PwC.
