The program is a double-degree program, implemented jointly with the University of Bloomsburg (USA), the University of Northumbria (UK), and the University of Grenoble Alpes (Université Grenoble Alpes, France).
Within the framework of the educational program, active research is being conducted. The main directions of research are the problems of globalization, the latest trends in the world economy and its resource potential, trade policy, institutional development of global regulation of international economic, monetary and financial relations.

Within the framework of the educational program, an active research is being conducted, the main directions of which are studies of the problem of globalization, the latest trends in the world economy and its resource potential, trade policy, directions of institutional development of global regulation of international economic and monetary and financial relations. The problems of research work (R&D) meet the needs of the development of foreign economic activity of Russian companies.
Our graduates are employed by structural divisions of large public and private companies engaged in developing foreign economic relations, international investment cooperation, the organization of settlements on international trade and investment, as well as financial transactions. The main employers are the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, the Ministry of Finance of Russia, the Bank of Russia, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russia, the Federal Customs Service, the largest Russian companies Gazprom, Rosneft, Russian Railways, Vnesheconombank Group, SMP Bank, etc.
The professional activities of our graduates include working in expert analytical services (centers of economic analysis, public sector, public organizations), rating agencies, the financial sector (banks, non-bank credit organizations, microfinance organizations, payment system operators, broker-dealer companies, management companies, joint-stock investment funds, depositories, clearing organizations, trade organizers on the financial market, registrars, insurance companies, stock exchanges), consulting, IT industry, the real sector of the economy (industry, agriculture, communications and mass media, service and provision of services to the population, construction, healthcare, law, international trade, etc.), as well as in scientific and educational organizations.

Professional software products are used in the training process: Bloomberg, SPARK, Project Expert, Excel, Power Point, MS Word, 1C: Enterprise, Statistica, etc. Students have the opportunity to improve their professional qualifications by obtaining a Bloomberg certificate, international and Russian certificates in the field of foreign economic activity and international business, international law, and a foreign language. The Faculty implements international academic mobility programs. Students have the opportunity to apply to the programs of the University of London.
4-week language internships are organized at Management and Language Specialists International College (MLS) (Bournemouth, UK), to improve the level of English language skills for students of the Faculty of IER.
