Program description

The online bachelor's degree program “Marketing" will enable you to:

  • choose modern methods of selling goods and providing services in the digital economy;
  • form the image of the organization and manage brands;
  • predict consumer demand;
  • analyze marketing information and commodity market conditions;
  • manage the marketing activities of organizations based on basic theoretical knowledge and practical professional skills.

The program is aimed at training highly qualified marketing specialists who are ready to take an active part in:

  • developing production and services;
  • choosing and changing the product and branding policy;
  • developing a marketing management system;
  • ensuring the effectiveness of price and sales policy management, promotion system and marketing communications in the conditions of turbulent socio-economic processes.

The program is implemented jointly with NPO Guild of Marketers and on the basis of the professional standard “Marketer" (order of the Ministry of Labor of Russia of 04.06.2018 № 366н).

Key disciplines of the concentration

Marketing Management

Students study the essence of marketing, its role in organizing and managing the organization, ensuring a sustainable competitive advantage in the market. They develop organizational management skills and learn how to implement marketing strategies at various levels.

Marketing Research

The discipline will teach you how to conduct marketing research on various issues, for example, related to the analysis, evaluation and forecasting of market development. You will be able to apply the research results to make informed management decisions at the level of economic entities in Russia and abroad.

Neuromarketing

The discipline will reveal the main opportunities and problems of using modern neurotechnologies underlying consumer decision-making and their reactions to marketing actions (branding, advertising, design and packaging, assortment, pricing, etc.), and will also help develop the ability to justify management decisions through neuroimaging and neurostimulation techniques.

Digital Marketing

Discipline will allow you to gain knowledge about the modern global Internet as a field of applying various digital technologies of marketing activities.

Sales Management

Within the framework of the discipline, you will study the characteristics and technologies, as well as the mechanism of trade marketing management, you will be able to organize sales and relationship management in the sales process, explore the technologies of customer search and online sales, control the process of sales, and evaluate their effectiveness.

Marketing Communications

The course explores the methods of introducing various types of marketing communications into the activities of modern organizations, such as advertising, online advertising, sales promotion, exhibition activities, direct sales, cross-selling, public relations, etc.

Innovation and Digital Transformation of Business

The purpose of mastering the discipline “Digital Business Transformation” is a systematic understanding of the processes associated with the impact of new information technologies (possible directions and existing scenarios), knowledge of the main stages of their implementation and key factors responsible for the success of the transformation of business processes using IT.

Web Analytics

You will learn how to configure and collect data from analytics systems, work with Google Tag Manager, Data Studio, Google Optimize and design end-to-end analytics, make decisions on the effectiveness of marketing based on data, and find growth points for business. 

Development of Design Thinking (workshop)

Our students study theoretical principles, concepts, and provisions of client-oriented methodologies for developing the design of new products and services, developing practical skills in using tools and techniques of these methodologies, as well as increasing students’ own creative potential.
