Program description

The program “Logistics" is aimed to train professionals who manage material, financial and information flows in various sectors of the economy and business, working in a dynamically changing external environment.

Professional competencies of our graduates are formed on the example of medium and large business organizations in the digital economy based on digital logistics technologies.

The object-oriented professional activity of graduates can be carried out in the field of transportation, warehousing, supply, supply chain management, etc.

  • Doctor of Economics, Professor.
  • Professor of the Department of Logistics and Marketing, Deputy Dean for Research at the Faculty of Economics and Business.
  • From 2015 to the present, she has been working in TRANSPROJECT Group as Deputy Director of the Territory Marketing Department. Carries out research in the field of applying digital logistics tools at various economic facilities, managing logistics processes in the digital economy, modeling of logistics operations in organizations of the fuel and energy complex, waste management of production and consumption, building comprehensive plans for the development of logistics of the Northern Sea Route and other major transport corridors. Authored more than 100 scientific and educational works on logistics, economics, and business.

Key disciplines of the concentration

Transport Logistics

Transport is an independent field of logistics and this course deals with global issues related to the economic aspects of transport logistics, traffic flow management, organization of logistics of multimodal transport in Russia and internationally. Learn how to apply the INCOTERMS rules correctly!

Supply Chain Management

The SCOR model is the main tool for planning and controlling supply chains; all stages of the project of reengineering processes in the supply chain are carried out on the basis of the SCOR standard. Upon completion of the course, you will be able to build a SCOR model, perform controlling and auditing of supply chains and apply counterparty integration and inventory management technologies in supply chains.

Supply Logistics and Inventory Management

A business of any scale requires organizing logistics of supply and inventory management, while the target functions of procurement activities will always be cost, quality, and timing. The course examines the methods of research and modeling of logistics links in supply and inventory management, assesses risks and effectiveness, and explores legal support.

Intelligent Transport Systems (TMS)

A unique author’s course, which will allow you to learn how to manage urban public transport, how the road safety system is built, how information and navigation systems are arranged, and how to develop your own intelligent vehicle.

Warehousing Logistics and Logistics Terminals

With the arrival of large hypermarkets on the Russian market, there was a need for the use of effective warehousing techniques, and digital logistics gave rise to the development of digital solutions in the field of warehouse management. The course covers various aspects of warehouse logistics – from the organization and technology of warehouse activities to technical and information support of the warehouse.

Marketing Management and Distribution Logistics

Logistics and marketing are very interconnected, so the discipline reveals the nuances of distribution logistics in conjunction with marketing strategies and forms a new approach to managing a modern enterprise based on the application of marketing logistics in the distribution system.
