About the faculty

The Institute of Open Education of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation provides training using distance learning and advanced educational technologies. More than three thousand students from regions of Russia, as well as foreign countries, are studying undergraduate and graduate programs at the Institute.

Institute is proud of its graduates, numbering over forty thousand specialists. Every year 100 foreign citizens graduate from the Institute. Most of the graduates who graduate from the Institute occupy leading positions in government bodies and in large corporate businesses.

Personnel training is carried out in the most relevant and popular areas of training, including:

Education

Training takes place outside of time boundaries and classrooms. The opportunity to gain knowledge from anywhere in the world using modern educational technologies in a mode that is comfortable for you.

To organize your educational process you will need a computer, smartphone and the Internet. Full-time attendance at the university will be required at the end of your studies to pass the state exam and defend your thesis.

Bachelor's degree programs

The Institute of Open Education of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation implements 11 undergraduate educational programs in 3 different forms of study.

• Full-time classes are held 3 or 4 times a week (online): on weekdays from 18.55 to 22.00 and on Saturdays from 10.00 to 18.00 (Moscow time).
• Part-time classes are held 2 or 3 times a week (online): on weekdays from 18.55 to 22.00 and on Saturdays from 10.00 to 18.00 (Moscow time).
• Correspondence classes (online) are held on Saturdays from 10.00 to 18.00 (Moscow time).

All lectures are available in recordings, they can be watched at any convenient time, practical classes are held in real time on the platform Webinar.ru according to the schedule.

Master's degree programs

Classes are held 2 or 3 times a week (in the building at Oleko Dundicha Street 23): on weekdays from 18.55 to 22.00, on Saturdays from 10.00 to 18.00.

Modular training system (4 modules in the academic year, 2 in each semester), a flexible system of intermediate control, when a student passes exams at the end of studying a block of disciplines defined by the corresponding curriculum.

The session dates are not prescribed in advance, and exams are taken at the end of each module in accordance with the approved schedule.

The Institute of Open Education of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation implements 15 educational master's programs in 3 different forms of study.
