About the faculty

The Pre-University Training Faculty for Foreign Citizens was established in December 2015.

The Pre-University Training Faculty provides education for foreign citizens according to the supplementary general education program, which enables foreign students to master professional programs in Russian language in the following 4 programs, such as economic, humanitarian, engineering, medical and biological programs.

  • The study period is 1 year.
  • The tuition fee is 240 thousand rubles.

The volume of the educational program in the specialty "Russian language" is 756 hours.

In addition, the Pre-University Training Faculty provides education for foreign citizens in an additional general education program, which enables foreign students to master professional programs in Russian (partially in English). Foreign students in this program study not only Russian, but also English and specialized subjects in English.

  • The study period is 1 year.
  • The tuition fee is 320 thousand rubles.

Teaching equipment: the faculty has modern classrooms equipped with multimedia devices, there are computer classrooms connected to the Internet and equipped with access to the electronic educational environment of the FinU. Students also have access to special classrooms for independent work.

The faculty members are trained by teachers with extensive experience in working with foreign students.

The faculty has organized educational, adaptive work, including cultural, creative, patriotic and sightseeing events.

Students who complete the curriculum and successfully pass the final exams receive a certificate.

Documents required for admission to the Pre-University Training Faculty

  1. A copy of the passport (the first page with a photo) with a translation into Russian. The validity period of the passport must be at least two years from the date of application for training,
  2. A copy of the education document with a translation into Russian,
  3. 3x4 color photo in electronic form,
  4. Send these documents by e-mail: yvlyapun@fa.ru rganem@fa.ru or send it personally/through your representative in Moscow to the address: 55 Leningradsky Prospekt, room 317, 318 (Airport metro station), Moscow, Russian Federation.

Organization of registration and visa support for students:

I Registration of invitations to enter the territory of the Russian Federation
  1. Fill out the application form for registration of an invitation to study, send the document by e-mail: yvlyapun@fa.ru , rganem@fa.ru,
  2. Pay the state fee in the amount of 800 rubles, provide the original receipt or send it by mail to the address: 125993, Russian Federation, Moscow, Leningradsky Prospekt, 55, room 317, 318, Pre-University Training Faculty,
  3. Specify the authorized person to whom the invitation should be sent, or your e-mail address to which the electronic invitation will be sent to you,
  4. The deadline for issuing an invitation is 20-30 calendar days,
  5. After receiving the invitation, you should contact the Embassy or Consulate of the Russian Federation in your country to apply for an entry study visa to Moscow.
II. Registration of migration documents upon arrival to study in the Russian Federation is carried out by the Organizational and Visa Department of the FinU Within 2 days from the date of entry into the territory of the Russian Federation, you must provide:
  1. Passport (original + 3 copies),
  2. Entry visa (original + 2 copies),
  3. Migration card (issued at the border) for the purpose of entry "Study" (original + 3 copies),
  4. Completed arrival notification, completed visa application form.
Documents are submitted to the migration and visa department at the address: Moscow, Leningradsky Prospekt, 51/1, room 0209 (Airport metro station)

Medical and Insurance Support

Admission to the FinU is carried out upon the provision of the following medical documents, which must be translated into Russian correctly:
  1. Blood test for: HIV/AIDS, RW, HBC, HCV, malaria,
  2. Vaccination against infectious diseases,
  3. Certificate of vaccinations,
  4. Fluorography,
  5. Conclusion of the dermatologist,
  6. Fecal studies on helminth eggs,
  7. Conclusion of the infectious disease specialist.
FinU provides assistance to foreign students in concluding an insurance contract immediately after arrival at the place of study.

Accommodation conditions

  • Students of the Pre-University Training Faculty are provided with places in the hall of residence of the educational campus,
  • Residential premises comply with all sanitary standards and requirements,
  • The hall of residence accommodation fee has a modern, block-based system and is provided with constant security and control,
  • The amount of the accommodation fee is 2,650 rubles per month, depending on the type of room. The cost of the accommodation is not included in the tuition fee.

Arrival at the Faculty

I. Inform the staff of the Dean's office by e-mail: yvlyapun@fa.ru , rganem@fa.ru send an electronic ticket (it is recommended to purchase a ticket on weekdays),

II. Submit the following documents to the Dean's office:

  1. The original passport and a notarized translation into Russian,
  2. The original document on previous education and its notarized translation into Russian, legalized in accordance with the established procedure (if necessary),
  3. 8 3x4 cm color photographs on matte paper,
  4. Medical documents that must be translated into Russian:
  • Blood testing for: HIV/AIDS, RW, HBC, HCV, malaria,
  • vaccination against infectious diseases,
  • information about vaccinations,
  • fluorography,
  • dermatologist,
  • fecal studies on helminth eggs,
  • an infectious disease specialist,
  • certificate form 086/y (can be issued in Moscow), which includes: examination by a therapist, surgeon, neurologist, ophthalmologist, otolaryngologist, general blood and urine analysis.
Have the financial resources necessary to pay for tuition, medical insurance, and accommodation in a hall of residence.

Advantages of studying at the Pre-University Faculty of the FinU
