Department of Public-Private Partnership

About the department

The Department of Public-Private Partnership was created at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation on October 26, 2010 by the Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs (Vnesheconombank).

The mission of the Department is:

  • To train highly-qualified experts in the PPP project development and management, and offer advanced training to PPP project participants;
  • To be engaged in fundamental and applied research in order to address pressing issues related to public infrastructure development backed by the use of PPP mechanisms.

Goals of the Department:

  • To train specialists in the field and implement PPP projects;
  • To offer advanced training to PPP project participants;
  • To conduct basic and applied research.

Tasks of the Department:

  • To develop innovative forms of knowledge in the direction of the Department’s activity;
  • To form and update training complexes in accordance with modern requirements for training sessions in the system of higher and further professional education;
  • To carry out research and offer consulting services on PPP issues;
  • To form competent teaching staff, ensuring a high professional level of the Department;
  • To interact with other Departments of the Financial University to solve educational, methodical, and scientific tasks effectively and efficiently;
  • To develop international activity, ensuring the up-to-date level of scientific knowledge, methods of teaching disciplines of the Department at the advanced level.
