About the department

The Department of International and Public Law is part of the structure of the Faculty of Law of the FinU, after the University reorganization in July, 2020.

The goal of the Department is to provide high-quality educational services and the development of domestic science in the field of international and public law.

The activities of the Department are aimed at:

• providing the educational process in the disciplines assigned to the Department in accordance with state standards, work programs and methodological support tools approved in accordance with the procedure established by the Financial University;
• developing the educational process based on the generalization of foreign and Russian best practices;
• applying new educational technologies in the educational process;
• organizing and conducting scientific research aimed at meeting the needs of the Financial University, as well as public authorities, enterprises, organizations and institutions;
• attracting students to actively participate in various conferences, round tables and other active intellectual events that contribute to the development of Soft Skills;
• developing the science of Russian law, including through the publication of the results of methodological, scientific-methodical and research activities in various scientific publications;
• participating in various kinds of competitions for scientific grants;
• examining theses, research works, monographs, tutorials, textbooks prepared for publication, and other scientific projects
