About the department

The Center for Systems Research was established by Order of the Rector of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation No.0859/o dated April 8, 2019 to carry out fundamental research within the framework of the State Assignment.

Our mission: WE expand the boundaries of understanding socio-economic processes.

Our goal is to bring together researchers involved in the development of the theory and methodology of a systematic approach to solving socio-economic problems.

Research area:

• Development of methods of system analysis, modeling and synthesis (including within the framework of the so-called soft direction), development of methodological support for their application in the socio-economic sphere,
• Development of the theory of socio-economic systems,
• Analysis and modeling of socio-economic systems,
• Methodological support of measurements in the socio-economic sphere,
• Systematization of management of socio-economic systems.

In addition to the main activities related to scientific research, the center is actively engaged in popularizing the main provisions of the modern theory of socio-economic systems and familiarizing the public with outstanding system scientists.
