About the department

The Department was established on January 9, 2003 within the framework of the Strategic Partnership Agreement concluded between the FinU and the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation - the supreme body of external state control (audit).

• Practical training of highly qualified personnel for the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation, control and accounting bodies of the Russian constituent territories and municipalities,
• Performance of the professional competence center’s functions of the control and accounting bodies of the Russian constituent territories and municipalities for implementation of the external state audit (control) best practices,
• Development and implementation of innovative training programs aimed at development of specialists and managers of control and accounting bodies,
• Conducting scientific and practical research in promising areas of state financial control (audit).
• The faculty members of the Department are leading experts in external state audit (control), experts in international audit practice, methodologists of financial, compliance and performance audit, as well as data analysts and developers of digital solutions.
• The Department supports the practical training of students in the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation, control, and accounting bodies of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, participates in the organization of all-Russian and international competitions of scientific research, students and young scientists, organizes open lectures, workshops and study tours.
