Financial University and the Federal Financial Monitoring Service of the Russian Federation (Rosfinmonitoring) together with the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Enlightenment of the Russian Federation, and other educational and scientific organisations — members of the International Network AML/CFT Institute — are organising the International Financial Security Olympiad with the support of the President of the Russian Federation to mark the 20th anniversary of the Russian Federation’s the AML/CFT system.
The Olympiad is aimed at increasing financial and legal literacy of young people, demonstrating current trends in economic security and in the development of science and technology in the areas of financial monitoring, and teaching them how to confront risks and threats in the financial sphere of the individual, society and the State.
The International Financial Security Olympiad is aimed at: – improving your financial literacy; – shaping a new way of thinking and a new format of action; – realising new opportunities, building an individual development trajectory, internships and further employment in the national AML/CFT system of Russia and partner states; – working with internationally recognised professionals and experts, national financial intelligence agencies of EAG countries, state bodies, major banks and financial companies;– professional and personal growth, development of new skills and a contribution to your achievements.
The Olympiad is held in two stages from March to October 2021:
The 1st (selection) stage will take place on May 20, 2021 at 14.00 at the Financial University, Leningradsky Prospekt, 51/1.
The 2nd (final) stage will be held from October 3-9, 2021 at the Educational Center "Sirius".
The Olympiad is held in the field of "Economics, Finance and Credit. Economic Security".
Winners and prizewinners from the selection stage (up to 25 people, not more than 45% of the total number of participants) will take part in the final stage.
Undergraduate students (1-3 year of studies) are welcome to take part in the Olympiad.
