The volleyball tournament "The World Cup" started off on April 10, 2021 in the FinU Sports and Health Complex. The tournament is organised by the International Students and Faculty Department together with the FinU Sports Club.
The purpose of this competition is to integrate foreign students into the sporting life of the Financial University and to promote a healthy lifestyle.
Five teams from Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Africa, Vietnam and Tajikistan participated in the tournament.
On the basis of the results of three rounds, the teams were placed as follows:
Afghanistan — 4 points;
Vietnam — 4 points;
Tajikistan — 4 points;
Africa — 2 points
Azerbaijan — 0 points.
The final games of the tournament will be held at the end of April.
