Celebration of the National Day of the State of Qatar

At the beginning of the event, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Russian Federation, His Excellency Fahad bin Mohammed Al-Attiyah personally welcomed the guests of the evening with a speech and congratulated them on the National Day.

Special feature of this event was a gastronomic performance from one of the most recognisable culinary stars of Qatar, chef Noof Al-Marri.

By personal invitation of the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Russian Federation the event was visited by Qatar diplomats, businessmen, and cultural figures.

On behalf of the Financial University Deputy Vice-Rector for International Cooperation Maxim Kotelnikov congratulated His Excellency Fahad bin Mohammed Al-Attiyah on the National Day.

The meeting was also attended by the Director of the Center for International Communications Anna Tkacheva and the Chief Specialist of the Center for International Communications Alessia Pravednikova.

Guests enjoyed the dishes of the national cuisine and got acquainted with traditions of hospitable Qatar.

The reception was added by the musical performances of pianist and composer Igor Yakovenko and jazz improvisations of Riad Mammadov, which combine the culture of the Eastern Renaissance and modern styles.

Ensemble "Kymatic" also performed on stage.
