February 9, 2021, Financial University hosted an online meeting on implementing joint educational disciplines and programs with colleagues from the Baku Higher Oil School.

Director of the Business School of the Financial University Svetlana Yushkova opened the event by highlighting the main activities of the joint educational programs and MBA programs.

On behalf of the Baku Higher School of Oil, Dean of the Faculty for Continuing Education, Associate Professor Kyaklik Gezalova welcomed the participants and dwelled on the main programs offered. Prof. Gezalova expressed her desire to develop cooperation in such areas as financial management, project management and management.

Scientific Adviser of the Department of Economic Security and Risk Management Prof. Vladimir Avdiyskiy highlighted the main activities of the Department and presented the programs implemented at the Financial University.

Head of the Department of Industry Markets Antonina Sharkova also participated in the meeting stressing how important it is to develop cooperation in such areas as economics and finance of fuel and energy complex, trending and logistics, and proposed organising advanced training courses.

“First of all, one of the advantages of our cooperation is that today no university in Russia other than the Financial University offers such educational programs including master’s programs that are partly implemented in English”, noted Antonina Sharkova.

Assistant Professor Pavel Katyukha, on behalf of the Department of Industry Markets, also gave a detailed presentation on the oil and gas trading program, noting its current relevance.

First Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business Ivan Petrov and Deputy Dean for International Cooperation Khvicha Kharchilava also joined the event.
