On October 9, 2020, IPR Media, a developer of unique electronic educational resources "Platform Russian as a Second Language", held an open expert discussion on the best practices in international activities of the universities "Under special guidance: the first digital enrolment for foreign students and what to do next!".
The following key points were on the agenda:
1. Review of the enrolment procedures of foreign students for bachelor’s, master’s and pre-training programs at Russian universities; 2. Experience exchange in organising training, adaptation and assistance for foreign students; 3. Selecting new strategies for academic mobility development.
The panel discussion was held at three places, together with a number of university heads, international cooperation managers and professionals responsible for adapting and assisting foreign students.
On behalf of the Financial University, Deputy Vice-Rector for International Cooperation Andrey Rementsov joined the panel of experts at the site "Best Practices in International Activities of Universities, which Will Stay in the New Reality".
During the presentation, Andrey Rementsov told colleagues about his experience of working with foreign students and student mobility programs available at the Financial University in the current moment.
Heads of other universities, such as Saint Petersburg State University, People’s Friendship University of Russia, Ural Federal University, RUSUR University, Yaroslav-the-Wise Novgorod State University and Ufa State Petroleum Technological University also joined the discussion.
