March 11, 2020, students of the Pre-University Training Faculty of the Financial University visited the Apothecary Garden. They enjoyed the exhibition called “The Rehearsal of Spring”, which displays blossoming tulips, narcissi, crocuses, hyacinths, lilies, lilies of the valley, snowdrops and magnolias.
The students continued their tour in the greenhouse at the exhibition “Tropical winter”, where they saw orchids, predatory plants, and a big collection of sukkulents.
The students found out that the medical garden was not only responsible for growing herbs but also for producing medications. Students and future doctors were taught how to prepare them here.
The students noted that the Apothecary Garden is one of Moscow's sight. Even Moscow metro station "Prospekt Mira", near which the garden is located, has botanical motifs: 16 ceramic bas-reliefs depict scenes of working botanists.
