On October 24, 2024, the "Career: New Opportunities" Career Marathon was held at the FinU. This event was organized by the Directorate for Employment, Career Development, and Work with Alumni, and it serves as an open platform for employers, students, and alumni to come together in a career-oriented space.
The Career Marathon offers a variety of activities, including a job fair, career counseling, and specialized workshops. As part of this platform, a poster session with 52 participating employers was held, including representatives from government agencies, businesses, and the banking industry. These companies shared information about internship and employment opportunities, as well as future prospects.
Throughout the day, in master classes and open discussions experts shared with students information about career opportunities and life hacks for a successful career.
Students and alumni communicated directly with HR specialists, got advice from employers, submitted resumes, learned about current trends in the labor market and work specifics in different fields, and participated in profile tests. They could also compete in various competitions and win branded products from the companies.
On the event's online platform, virtual employer stands were presented with information about career opportunities. Participants could move from one stand to another, learn about vacancies and internships, and submit their resumes to employers participating in the event.
Over 5,000 students and alumni of the FinU, as well as representatives from its branches and colleges, participated in the career marathon, which was held both in person and online. All participants praised the high level of organization, the large number of leading companies participating, and the wide range of opportunities available for self-development and building a successful career.
