The relevant document was signed by Irek Fayzullin, Minister of Construction, Housing and Utilities, and Stanislav Prokofiev, Rector of the FinU. The cooperation aims to promote the development of various areas within the construction industry and housing and utility services.
"The Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities of Russia is actively cooperating with the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation. The signing of a bilateral agreement is a step towards the development of the construction industry and housing and utilities in our country. We are always open to working with leading domestic educational institutions. Therefore, we will continue this cooperation," said Irek Fayzullin, the Minister of Construction, Housing and Utilities of Russia.
As part of our cooperation with the FinU, we plan to create a department of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities which will serve as a center for advanced training and retraining in priority areas of construction and housing.
"The signing of the cooperation agreement between the FinU and the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities of the Russian Federation marks an important milestone that ushers in a new phase of our collaboration. We aim to join forces, primarily to train highly skilled professionals in economics and financial aspects of construction, as well as enhance the skills of professionals in the construction industry. Another key area of focus is research and development. FinU and the Russian Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities have already established fruitful cooperation on several projects, and I am confident that we will continue to deepen our collaboration through expert and consulting services," said Stanislav Prokofiev, Rector of FinU.

The Competence Center for Educational Activities of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities of the Russian Federation has started work on the development of continuing education programs in pricing in construction. It is planned to develop and approve two continuing  education programs of 32 and 96 academic hours each on financial and economic activities in the construction sector for the academic years 2025-2026.
As part of bilateral cooperation, special attention will be paid to conducting industrial and pre-graduation practical training for students, their future employment in institutions under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities of Russia and leading construction companies, as well as organizing joint scientific and practical conferences, seminars, round tables and presentations aimed at promoting scientific activities.

In cooperation with Kazan State University of Architecture and Engineering, we are working on the development and approval of a master's degree program that will be implemented in a networked format based on the FinU.
At the working meeting, Irek Fayzullin and Stanislav Prokofiev discussed the development of educational infrastructure, including the progress of constructing university facilities as part of the "Construction" program overseen by the Minstroy of Russia.
On behalf of the FinU, Ekaterina Kameneva, Vice Rector for Educational and Methodological Work, Alexander Fedotov, Vice-Rector for Infrastructure Development, and Amina Khusainova Vice-Rector for Economic and Financial Affairs were also present at the signing ceremony.
