From July 7 to 19, 2024, students of the Faculty of International Economic Relations of the FinU took part in a summer internship in China, organized by the Department of International Business of the Faculty of the IER and the Institute of Northeast Asia of Jilin University.
The internship took place in Beijing and Changchun, the capital of Jilin Province. The educational program included courses on the country's economy, history, and culture, as well as Chinese language classes with native speakers. Students also visited iconic landmarks and participated in workshops on traditional tea art, red board carving, and the basics of the martial art Taijiquan.
Jilin University is one of the FinU's key partners. As part of the cooperation, a joint program of two bachelor's degrees "Global Economics and International Trade (with in-depth study of the Chinese economy)" and "Global Economics and International Trade (with in-depth study of the Chinese economy)" has been established.
