The Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation and Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov have signed an agreement on cooperation.
The signing ceremony took place on June 27 at the XI Forum of the Regions of Belarus and Russia, dedicated to the role of interregional cooperation in building the innovative economy of the Union state. The document was signed by Alexander Fedotov, Vice-Rector for Infrastructure Development of the FinU, and Valentina Bogatyreva, Rector of the Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov.
The parties agreed on the development of scientific cooperation between the universities, the exchange of experience and teaching methods and approaches to the educational process. In addition, as part of the agreement it is planned to develop and implement programs for international academic mobility of students.
Alexander Fedotov, Vice-Rector of the FinU, also took part in the session of the XI Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia "Innovations in Higher Education and Science: Experience and Prospects of Cooperation of the Union State". During the session the issues of further development of Russian-Belarusian cooperation in science, higher education and innovation, as well as improvement of efficiency of joint projects were discussed.
