On June 13, 2024 the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation and Innopolis University signed a cooperation agreement. The document was signed by Stanislav Prokofiev, Rector of the FinU, and Kirill Semenikhin,  Innopolis University Director. The signing ceremony of the agreement opened the business program of the visit of the FinU delegation to the Republic of Tatarstan.

The representatives of the FinU delegation were received by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Roman Shaykhutdinov. In his welcoming speech he spoke about the history of the city of Innopolis and its concept aimed at uniting young highly qualified specialists, attracting high-tech companies and expanding the potential for innovative development of the Russian Federation.

Kirill Semenikhin, Innopolis University Director, in turn, outlined the main goals and opportunities for the development of inter-university cooperation aimed at introducing innovations in the field of science and education.

Stanislav Prokofiev, Rector of the FinU, expressed confidence that the launch of joint educational and scientific projects with Innopolis University, a leader in IT and robotics, will bring the quality of training specialists for the national economy to a new level.

During the negotiations, Iskander Bariev, Head of the Advanced Engineering School of Innopolis University, presented key applied projects implemented at the university.

Inter-university cooperation provides for the launch of joint projects in a number of promising areas. The parties will combine their efforts, capabilities and intellectual potential to develop and improve educational, methodological and research work, as well as to provide innovative support for the education of students.


As part of the cooperation, it is planned to launch joint educational programs and conduct scientific research using AI technologies. FinU Students will have an opportunity to take part in career guidance events and have the opportunity to practice at Innopolis University.
