The IX Moscow Youth Forum “Moscow-Tatarstan Bridge” organized by the Plenipotentiary Mission of the Republic of Tatarstan took place in Moscow on April 13. For the second year in a row, the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation hosted the participants. This year's event is dedicated to the Year of the Family, proclaimed by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The Forum is an important event in the public life of the capital and contributes significantly to the development of business and socio-cultural relations between Moscow and Tatarstan. Traditionally, the event was attended by the head of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov.
Welcoming the guests and participants of the Forum, Stanislav Prokofiev, Rector of the FinU, spoke about the interaction of the University with the leading scientific and business centers of Tatarstan.
“Innovations that are created in the Republic today are continued within the walls of our University - university experts carefully study the experience of the Republic of Tatarstan and pass it on to our students. Students regularly take part in field educational projects and get acquainted with the latest methods and approaches to solving problems in public administration, economy and social sphere. We value the relations that have developed between the FinU and Tatarstan and wish the republic continued prosperity for the benefit of its citizens,” said Stanislav Prokofiev.
The Mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin sent greetings to the participants of the meeting. He noted that in recent years “an interesting and useful forum bringing together young talented people from Moscow and Tatarstan” has become a symbol of friendship and cooperation between the two regions.
The Moscow-Tatarstan Bridge Forum brings together active, energetic and purposeful representatives of the republic’s youth, students, postgraduates and young professionals who study and work in the capital of our country today. As part of the event, outstanding compatriots, whose successes Tatarstan is proud of, perform in front of the participants. Speakers will share their secrets of success based on personal experience and give recommendations on choosing a future profession.
This year's Forum was attended by the Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan Ravil Akhmetshin, the Plenipotentiary of Tatarstan to the Russian Federation Rustam Saifullin, the Hero of the Russian Federation Rustam Suleymanov, the commander of Ural Airlines, the Hero of Russia Damir Yusupov, the President of the Marjani Foundation Rustam Suleymanov, film actor, director, scriptwriter Alexander Bashirov, Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan, theater and film actor, TV presenter Marat Basharov, People's Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan Salavat Fatkhetdinov, People’s Artist of the Russian Federation Oleg Gazmanov and General Director of the Production Center “Insight People” Alina Zinnatullina. Outstanding artists of the republic performed for the guests and participants of the discussion, the event was moderated by the TV presenter of Channel One Maxim Sharafutdinov and his colleague, the TV presenter of REN TV channel Ksenia Sedunova.
The results of the Forum were summarized by the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. He thanked the management of the FinU for their hospitality and expressed hope for the expansion of cooperation in training highly qualified personnel for the economy of our country. Addressing the students, Rustam Minnikhanov advised the youth to follow the example of real patriots, who prove their love for the motherland by their actions. “I listen to everyone very carefully. After all, a person should learn all his/her life, including from the example of those who do right and useful things,” the Head of the republic emphasized.
Rustam Minnikhanov also thanked the speakers for their interesting speeches and expressed confidence that modern youth will continue the glorious deeds of their predecessors. The forum ended with a solemn ceremony of performance of the composition “Min yaratam sine, Tatarstan”.
As a part of the Forum the honored guests of the event visited the Museum of the FinU where they watched the exhibition devoted to the history of development of the Russian financial system.
