The V International Student Conference on Business Informatics, organized by the Department of Business Informatics, took place at the Faculty of Information Technology and Big Data Analysis of the FinU on April 10, 2024. The main topics of the conference were Artificial Intelligence and Ecosystem Design.
The speakers of the plenary session were Marina Kubanina, Head of Product Development of Artificial Intelligence Technologies at Trust Technologies, certified Scrum Master in SAFe methodology; Elena Malinina, PhD in Economics, Head of Product Development at Interfax News Agency and Associate Professor of Business Informatics at the FinU; Gleb Ivanchenko, System Engineer and Analyst at Samokat.tech, as well as foreign professors.
The conference was attended by delegations of universities graduating bachelor's and master's degrees in Business Informatics (HSE, State University of Management, MCU, State University of Land Use Planning, USU), branches of the FinU were connected online, Moscow school children came to learn about the FinU.
After the plenary session several sections were worked on.
One of the most impressive and memorable events of the conference was an exciting e-sports tournament BIzzCon & CyberBI with competitions in two disciplines - Counter-Strike and League of Legends, supported by sponsors: K2Automotive, NORBIT, Alfa-Bank, Dymov. Various contests and quizzes were organized for fans at the tournament, and an unexpected surprise for all participants was the spectacular appearance of cosplayers invited by the organizers before the awarding of prizes based on the results of the conference and the e-sports tournament.
It is necessary to note the special, extraordinary atmosphere of friendship and competition, as well as the unforgettable feeling of celebration of the event!
