On April 3, 2024, the FinU administration paid a working visit to one of the largest higher educational institutions of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam – the Vietnam National University (VNU) and the University of Economics and Business, which is part of it.

During the negotiations, the parties discussed the results of inter university cooperation: currently, work is underway between universities in implementing academic mobility programs for students.

Special attention was paid to the exchange of experience between Russian and Vietnamese teachers and scientists: the participants of the meeting discussed the possibilities of organizing specialized educational projects and short-term professional development programs. As part of the partnership development, it is also planned to develop a joint master’s program in fintech and launch a research laboratory on AI. 

The program of the visit was continued by a scientific seminar on the sustainability of the Russian economy, attended by Stanislav Prokofiev, Rector of the FinU, Ekaterina Kameneva, Vice-Rector for Educational and Methodological Work of the FinU, and Grigory Ostapenko, FinU Vice-Rector for Digitalization. 

Welcoming the students and faculty of the VNU University of Economics and Business, Stanislav Prokofiev noted that the Russian economy has successfully adapted to large-scale constraints and stressed the important role of the education system in the socio-economic development of the country. 

In the format of an open dialogue, experts from the FinU told the guests of the meeting about the most significant factors of the stability of the Russian economy, noting responsible budget policy, a set of measures to support high-tech sectors of the economy and investments in human capital. 

In their speeches, representatives of FinU administration also stressed the important role of domestic digital solutions and new services aimed at improving the efficiency of the national economy, told about FinU innovative educational programs that allow students to expand their knowledge and skills in new technologies: today, more than 20 projects in AI have been implemented at the University.
