Cooperation with UCSI University (Malaysia)

On October 12, 2023, negotiations between the International Cooperation Department of the FinU and UCSI University, the leading private university in Malaysia, took place in an online format. UCSI is among the top 300 best universities in the world in the international QS World University Rankings. FinU alumni are highly qualified academics and researchers working all over the world.

During the negotiations, the head of the Department for Global Cooperation of UCSI University, Professor Erwina Binti A. Ghafar and the Deputy Head of the International Cooperation Department of the FinU Alexey Sereda exchanged proposals on priority cooperation areas. Representatives of the universities discussed the prospects for the development of academic exchange programs for students, as well as joint educational programs. In addition, the participants of the negotiations from Malaysia expressed interest in participating in the VIII FinU International Forum “Russia and the World: New Walls or New Rules”.

As a result of the meeting, an agreement in principle was reached on the conclusion of a framework agreement on cooperation and an agreement on the implementation of student exchange programs – representatives of international university services have already begun work on these documents.
