On September 1, 2023, celebrations dedicated to the beginning of the new academic year and the Knowledge Day were held at all faculties of the FinU. Representatives of faculties headed by deans, as well as vice-rectors met the first-year students to officially welcome them to the university. Students got acquainted with the administration of the faculties, as well as all departments that make up them. Senior coordinators organized tours of the campus territories and introduced new colleagues to the key elements of the University’s infrastructure.
Rector of the FinU Stanislav Prokofiev visited the faculties of Higher School of Management and Taxes, Audit and Business Analysis and congratulated the first-year students,
“I congratulate you on the beginning of student life! You have become students of the truly flagship, one of the most sought-after and prestigious faculties of the FinU, which have been training top-level specialists for many years. The best skills, rich experience and advanced technologies are gathered here, a knowledge base is being formed here, which later serves as the basis of the teaching staff throughout Russia. Our alumni who graduate from these areas are successfully employed, become highly qualified and reputable specialists, forming an impeccable reputation of their alma mater. You have chosen very responsible professions that require deep theoretical knowledge and practical skills. I have no doubt that they will all be mastered by you at the proper level, which will allow you to build a successful career and achieve the highest results!”
Stanislav Prokofiev stressed that FinU is the largest Russian university that trains specialists in economics and management, and its alumni in different years have been representatives of the country’s managerial elite.
The Rector noted that on the basis of the faculties located in the building on Verkhnyaya Maslovka Street, the departments of four major international audit companies have been opened. In addition, productive cooperation is carried out with a number of public authorities, agencies and departments, which ensures an extremely high percentage of employment among students in these areas.
