From July 7 to 22, 2023, the long-awaited IER Summer School on the Chinese Language and the Economy of China was held in Beijing and Changchun (China).
It became part of a new project of concurrent academic exchange of Russian and Chinese students at summer schools, developed by the Faculty of International Economic Relations and the Department of International Cooperation of the FinU and the Institute of Northeast Asia of Jilin University.
During their stay in China, students of the Faculty of IER:
· mastered a course of practical classes in Chinese,
· attended lectures on the economy of China from leading professors of Jilin University,
· took part in workshops on cutting from red cardboard, on coloring masks for the Beijing Opera, on tea art, on Tai Chi and many others,
· visited many objects of cultural and historical significance: in Beijing - the Great Wall of China, Yiheyuan Park, the Temple of Heaven, in Changchun - the Peak of the Magic Deer, the Changchun Museum, the Museum of Jilin Province, the Changchun Film Studio, the Chinese-Russian Scientific and Technical Center, etc.
During the stay in Changchun, negotiations were also held with representatives of Jilin University and agreements were reached on new interesting projects.
