The Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation as part of the Hackathon “Uralsib Hack: Generative Intelligence in Banks” conducted an acceleration program “Innovation Leaders”.
The main goal of the hackathon was to find opportunities for practical everyday use of generative AI in the bank’s business processes. More than 253 teams took part in the hackathon, they were offered 10 different cases to choose from. The organization was attended by:

13 projects reached the final of the competition, the project of Al-assistant Tom won. The top three winners received cash prizes.
As part of the Hackathon “Uralsib Hack: Generative Intelligence in Banks”, Financial University held an acceleration program “Innovation Leaders” from June 14 to 28, 2023, as well as workshops related directly to the topic of the event, which were aimed at both team building and the study of subject areas and frameworks for work and training generative artificial intelligence.
The target audience of the workshop were:

· project managers
· representatives of economic and humanitarian specialties who want to try their hand at working together with IT specialists.

· The workshop is the final event of the acceleration program “Innovation Leaders”, Anton Losev is the Director of the FinU Business Incubator, Head of the Center for Digital Technology Research and Ekaterina Vodopyan is a Skolkovo mentor, managing partner of the consulting company Hyperum LLC.
At the final event of the acceleration program “Innovation Leaders” on June 27, 2023 the workshop “Iron Entrepreneur” was carried out, and the participants were offered a case called “Artificial Stupidity” while it was necessary to generate product ideas based on technology. The case is aimed at developing artificial intelligent systems capable of emulating “stupid” behavior and making unjustified or illogical decisions. Among the projects presented were “School of Mistakes”, “Anti-Fraud”, “Menschen AI” and “Crax Fin Bot”, a chatbot in the financial sphere that applies the principles of artificial stupidity to provide unusual and innovative advice on investment and financial management, which became the winner of the acceleration program. The bot learns from incomplete data, generates alternative strategies, and is able to identify interactions with other AI, creating unique and stimulating learning for users.
