On June 30 and July 1, 2023, FinU held graduation ceremonies for alumni of 2023. Festive events were held at the sites of FinU strategic partners. The best young specialists in public finance, financial control and financial markets were noted at the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation, the Treasury of Russia and the Moscow Stock Exchange.
The Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation Anton Siluanov congratulated the best alumni of academic programs in public finance of the Faculty of Finance on the successful completion of their studies and presented them with diplomas.
“I congratulate you on your successful graduation from the FinU. Now you are entering a new stage of life, when all roads are open to you and your future career depends only on you. Within the walls of the Financial University, you have acquired important skills and competencies that will become the basis of professional development. It is especially important to continue improving your skills in order to become great specialists. I am convinced that very little time will pass, and the University will be proud of your victories and high professional achievements,” said Anton Siluanov, Dean of the Faculty of Finance.
Rector of the FinU Stanislav Prokofiev, welcoming the guests of the ceremony, noted that the best alumni of the faculty received a professional career start today.
“You have come a long way and are joining a unique society – a family of FinU alumni. For 104 years, our University has trained more than a million highly qualified specialists. Congratulating you, I would like to wish you to constantly improve your knowledge and put it into practice. The ability to think and extract relevant information is the key secret of success today. Be professional and carry the title of the FinU alumni with respect,” Stanislav Prokofiev said.
The alumni were congratulated by Svetlana Solyannikova, Vice-Rector for Scientific Work, head of the master’s program “Financial Management Technologies and Financial Innovations in the Public Sector”. She thanked the guys for the interesting joint work, wished them success and added that the doors of the university are always open for them. Olga Polyakova, First Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Finance, heads of specialized educational programs and faculty teachers who passed on their knowledge and experience, rejoiced at their successes and victories, also addressed the students and congratulated them on the holiday.
In turn, the students expressed gratitude to the administration of the FinU and the faculty for the knowledge and opportunities invested in them, which the University provided them during their studies.
The best alumni of the bachelor’s and master’s degrees of the Department of Financial Control and Treasury of the Faculty of Finance of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation were solemnly congratulated and awarded diplomas by Deputy Head of the Treasury of Russia, Acting State Adviser of the Russian Federation of the 1st class and Head of the Department of Financial Control and Treasury Eli Isaev. The ceremony was held in the Assembly Hall of the Treasury of Russia.
Eli Isaev noted that the alumni of the department have passed a difficult, but fascinating and interesting way of studying at the FinU, and most importantly, they have received excellent knowledge and skills that open the doors to a decent future with a good career, congratulated them on graduating from the University and wished them to be true patriots of their country, achieve success in the future, strive for excellence and work for the good of the Fatherland.
For the first time this year, bachelor’s degrees for alumni of the profile “Financial Markets and Fintech”, as well as graduates of the master’s programs “Securities and Financial Engineering” and “Financial Mathematics and Market Analysis” were awarded at the Moscow Exchange. Olga Trofimova, HR Director of the Moscow Stock Exchange, congratulated the alumni and invited them to join the Moscow Exchange team as employees.
Alumni showed significant results in the learning process, proved themselves in the scientific and social life of the FinU.
Graduation ceremonies were also held at all faculties of the FinU.
