On June 27, 2023, the final meeting of the FinU Academic Council was held this academic year.
At the beginning of the meeting, an agreement on cooperation with the All-Russian Research Institute “Center” was signed in a solemn atmosphere. The cooperation will be aimed at developing new integrated areas of scientific research, identifying areas of integration of higher education, science and business structures.
In a solemn atmosphere, S.E. Prokofiev presented departmental awards, a diploma of the doctor of sciences degree as well as of professor and associate professor academic titles to the FinU employees. Also, as part of the meeting, the FinU students were awarded certificates of nominal scholarships approved by employees of the Financial University and third-party organizations.
The report of the Vice-Rector for the Organization of the Educational Process, E.V. Markina, summed up the work results of the state examination commissions and defined the plans and tasks of faculties, and departments for the new 2023/2024 academic year.
Then, in accordance with the agenda, Deputy Vice-Rector for Educational and Methodological Work - Head of the Department for Methodological Support of Educational Programs N.I. Sergeeva reported to the Academic Council members on the plan implementation of the educational and methodological work for the 2022/2023 academic year; Vice-Rector for Strategy and Work with GR D.A. Semenov - on the results of monitoring the employment of the FinU alumni; Chairman of the Commission on Scientific Activity M.N. Tolmachev – on the implementation of an individual plan by doctoral students for the third year of training.
At the same time, As part of the Academic Council meeting , other issues of the FinU current activities were also considered.
