On June 20, 2023, the Summer School of Russian Language, History and Culture was launched at the FinU as part of the Summer University project. This year it was attended by students and faculty of gymnasiums in Slovakia.

The project participants were welcomed by the Vice-Rector for Educational and Methodological Work of the FinU Ekaterina Kameneva. Addressing the guests, she noted the cooperation importance and on behalf of the administration expressed readiness to provide guests with comprehensive support, “We are ready to do everything so that you return home with good impressions and memories,” the Vice-Rector added.

In a solemn atmosphere, Ekaterina Kameneva presented a certificate of professional training to the head of listeners, Professor Adriana Lauffova.

The project participants were welcomed by the Head of the Department of the English Language and Professional Communication Marina Melnichuk. In her welcoming speech, she drew attention to the wide educational opportunities of the project.

The grand opening of the Summer School was also attended by faculty and students’ supervisors. In their welcoming remarks, they noted the project’s importance for the formation and maintenance of international relations in science and education.

The solemn part of the program was continued by the project presentation, where the Head of the International Cooperation Department Lilia Prikhodko told the guests about the main activities of the FinU and presented the program of the Summer School. Lilia Prikhodko emphasized that the project has expanded its profile and touches on the issues of the Russian language, culture and history of the country.

During the first day of the Summer School, the program participants visited the Museum of Finance, the exposition of which introduces visitors to the history of the monetary and financial system of Russia, and also listened to introductory lectures of the educational course.

The educational program of the Summer School, which includes a course in Russian, history, culture and economics, will last until the beginning of July. Students of the Summer School will also visit iconic sights and excursions for a deeper acquaintance with the culture and traditions of Russia. We wish our guests good weather and bright impressions.​
