On June 14, 2023, a meeting of the Academic Council of the FinU was held under the chairmanship of the Deputy Chairman of the FinU Academic Council, E.V. Markina.
At the beginning of the meeting, according to the established tradition, E.V. Markina solemnly presented departmental and corporate awards such as Professor of the Department of Economic Theory M.L. Alpidovskaya, alumnus of the Military-Financial Economics Faculty of the Financial Academy in 1994 S.V. Nikitin, Professor of the Department of Financial and Investment Management, Faculty “Higher School of Management” T.V. Filatova.
In accordance with the meeting agenda, the Academic Council considered the teachers for submission to the assignment of professor and associate professor academic titles.Further, elections of deans of faculties and heads of departments, including branches, and a competition for the teaching staff positions were held.
The Academic Council also heard a report by the Vice-Rector for Educational and Methodological Work E.A. Kameneva “On International Cooperation of the FinU, Results, Challenges and Prospects”. Advisor to the Chairman of the FinU Student Council A.A. Shampurova reported on the work results of the student self-government bodies in the 2022/2023 academic year.
Vice-Rector for Social Work and Extracurricular Activities A.V. Kozharinov presented for approval candidates for a scholarship of the Government of the Russian Federation for secondary vocational education programs in the 2023/2024 academic year.
At the same time, the Academic Council also considered other issues of the FinU current activities.
