The results of a prestigious international study – the global ESG ranking of universities TimesHigherEducation Impact Rankings 2023 - have been published. He evaluates the contribution of the world's universities to the achievement of the global Sustainable Development Goals defined by the UN.
In 2023, 1,625 universities from 112 countries of the world are taking part in THE Impact Rankings 2023, which is 184 more than last year – such is the attention to the "environmental" agenda in the global academic environment.
As a year earlier, FinU is ranked in the interval group 401-600. Among 86 Russian universities participating in THE Impact 2023, the Financial University is ranked 8th.
The agency's analysts noted the contribution of the FinU, the faculty of the University to conducting research and preparing scientific publications on sustainable development and combating climate change, problems of achieving global economic growth and employment, gender equality, reducing inequality, the importance of clean energy; a high level of continuing education implementation at the FinU, opportunities in employment that allow alumni to successfully find a high-paying job; the quality of academic programs and courses related to ESG issues; the efforts being made in responsible resource consumption, energy conservation, water consumption reduction, waste recycling; the full support that our University provides to people with disabilities in obtaining the right to education.
