On May 31, 2023, a delegation of the Rosatom Technical Academy visited the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation to study and disseminate the experience of using VR technologies in the educational environment.
A university tour was held for Rosatom representatives. The delegates visited the FinU Museum, the Lyceum immersive laboratory, and also tested the use of VR technologies in educational activities. The Cyberhub Center staff demonstrated VR audiences that are created on the basis of the center, as well as their own developments - VR simulators, where it is possible to organize a check of residual knowledge in the studied area.
During the meeting, the possibilities of using virtual and augmented reality technologies to improve the education quality and improve interaction with students, as well as the prospects of using VR technologies in the educational process implementation in the nuclear industry were discussed. The further vector of relations' development on VR audience creation in Metaverse was determined. Moreover, on the basis of the Cyberhub Center, a VR simulator will be created for the Rosatom Technical Academy for training personnel to work at nuclear power plants.
