On May 19, 2023, the Presidium of the Scientific and Educational consortium “Energy of the Future” at its first meeting approved joining the consortium of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation. The event was held at the site of the Russian Energy Agency under the Ministry of Energy of Russia.
“FinU is one of the oldest universities in the country, with skills in finance, economics, law and management certainly expanding the skills and scientific and practical tasks of our consortium,” said Alexey Kulapin, Director General of the REA under the Ministry of Energy of Russia.
Svetlana Solyannikova, Vice-Rector for Scientific Work at the FinU, outlined the main areas of joint activity within the consortium. First of all, this is participation in educational events: open lectures, workshops, continuing education programs related to the economic aspects of the fuel and energy sector. The University expressed its readiness to provide the necessary support in the preparation and holding of the scientific and practical conference “Territory of Energy Dialogue”, as well as to interact with the BRICS Energy Research Platform during the implementation of research.
As part of the meeting’s agenda, the participants also approved the consortium’s activity plan for 2023, which includes creating conditions for the information exchange of scientific and technical information, holding open lectures on topical issues of the Russian fuel and energy sector, implementing joint initiatives on international platforms, as well as holding expert events as part of the scientific and practical conference “Territories of Energy Dialogue”.
