On April 20, 2023, FinU hosted a career marathon “Spring of Opportunities" with the participation of employers. The event was organized by the Department of Employment and Career Development of the Directorate of Employment, Career Development and Work with Alumni.
The event was held as part of the All-Russian Employment Fair and combined a job fair, live broadcasts of employers and career consultations.
More than 40 representatives of government agencies, the business community and the banking sector took part in the work of the career platform at the FinU. Representatives of the companies told the event participants about the possibilities of internships and prospects for further employment.
Students and alumni were able to communicate directly with HR specialists, get advice from employers, submit their resume, learn about labor market trends and work specifics in various fields, as well as participate in profile quizzes.
On the online event platform, virtual stands of employers with a description of career opportunities were presented, where participants could move from one virtual employer stand to another, get to know vacancies and internships and send their resume to employers participating in the event.
An event distinctive feature was the organization of live broadcasts with the employers' participation in the format of a talk show.
The marathon also included online consultations from the Department of Employment and Career Development with students and alumni. Students learned how to plan a career correctly and determine their career preferences.
It is noteworthy that many employers organized contests and sweepstakes for students. Among the gifts were both branded products and the opportunity to complete an internship.
More than 5,000 participants took part in the Career Marathon at the FinU, more than 4,500 participants joined the live broadcasts.
The marathon participants noted the high level of organization and the event holding and a wide range of opportunities for self-realization and building a successful career.
