On April 19, 2023, an open dialogue “Building a Career in Roscosmos" was held at the FinU.
The speaker was Svetlana Ryzhkova, the Chief Legal Adviser of the Corporate Governance Group of the Legal Department of the State Corporation Roscosmos, a FinU alumnus.
The Roscosmos State Corporation ensures the implementation of the state policy in space activities and its regulatory and legal regulation, as well as places orders for the development, production and supply of space technology and infrastructure facilities.
The functions of the state corporation also include the international cooperation development in the space sphere and the creation of conditions for the use of the space activities' results in the socio-economic development of Russia.
During her speech, Svetlana Ryzhkova spoke about being a legal adviser in the defense industry, corporate law in defense industry organizations and career building.
The defense industry gives young specialists all the opportunities for self-realization. Last but not least, working for the domestic defense industry is also a high honor and benefit to the domestic country. The Russian defense industry is one of the most important sectors of Russian industry.
The event was held with the support of the Department of Employment and Career Development of the Directorate of Employment and Career Development and Work with Alumni together with the Faculty of Law.
