Rosselkhoznadzor and the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation have signed a cooperation agreement. The document was signed by Boris Listov, Chairman of the Board of the Russian Agricultural Bank, and Stanislav Prokofiev, FinU Rector.
The agreement is aimed at implementing joint educational, career-oriented, educational and informational projects.
As part of the agreement, the Rosselkhoznadzor and the FinU plan to jointly develop and conduct training courses, workshops and hackathons aimed at developing both digital and managerial skills of students in the banking sector, attract university students for internships at the Rosselkhoznadzor, contribute to improving the financial literacy of small business entities and the country’s population in general.
“Our cooperation with the FinU has been going on for more than 10 years, and the agreement signed today only strengthens and expands the opportunities for interaction. To date, more than 700 FinU alumni have already become our employees. Our plans include training professionals for fintech: economists, IT specialists, financial law lawyers, who are so in demand on the market today. I am sure that such joint work will give a powerful synergistic effect for the formation of a new personnel elite in the banking sector,” said Boris Listov, Chairman of the Board of the Russian Agricultural Bank.
He also said that the agreement provides for the passage of professional retraining and advanced training programs by employees of the Rosselkhoznadzor. “For the Russian Agricultural Bank, which makes every effort for the continuous professional and personal growth of its employees, interaction with the FinU is of particular importance. During our cooperation, more than 260 employees of the bank’s regional branches have undergone professional retraining at the University site,” Boris Listov noted.
In turn, the FinU Rector Stanislav Prokofiev expressed gratitude to the bank’s administration for many years of productive cooperation and emphasized, “The document signed today will certainly become a powerful driver for the active development of new joint ideas for the formation of a unified scientific and educational environment, as well as the development and implementation of innovative training programs for highly qualified personnel for the national banking system.”
“Rosselkhoznadzor is rightfully considered one of the most reliable and reputable banks in our country. And we are very pleased that for many years he has been our strategic partner in the implementation of many socially significant projects and initiatives. I am convinced that our multifaceted partnership in education and science will continue to expand,” Stanislav Prokofiev added.
It is also planned to create and develop information and event platforms for career guidance and involvement of FinU students in the advanced areas of the bank’s business, as well as to assist in the employment of alumni of secondary specialized educational institutions of the university in the structure of a financial organization.
As part of the joint work with the IT Faculty of the FinU, it is planned to create innovative digital models of education on platforms developed by the Rosselkhoznadzor for the agro-industrial complex, including the services “I’m in Agro”, “Out of Town”, “My Native One”, as well as the holding of “Delicious Friday” festivals at the University site.
