On March 17, 2023, a solemn signing ceremony was held between the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, the Federal Financial Monitoring Service and the International Training and Methodological Center for Financial Monitoring.

According to the document signed by Stanislav Prokofiev, Rector of the FinU, Yuri Chikhanchin, Director of Rosfinmonitoring, and Vladimir Ovchinnikov, First Deputy Director General of the ITMCFM, cooperation will cover a range of areas aimed at ensuring economic security.

As part of cooperation, it is planned to launch professional development programs, conduct joint scientific research, organize specialized master classes, seminars and discussions.

“Training of specialists in financial security is one of the priorities today. FinU follows this trend, implements several academic programs of the professional module, actively participates in the International Olympiad on Financial Security, which arouses keen interest among applicants,” the Rector of the FinU said.

Stanislav Prokofiev emphasized the importance of partnership and launching new projects together with the participants of the International Network AML/CFT Institute.

In turn, the director of Rosfinmonitoring, Yuri Chikhanchin, noted the importance of developing skills in economic security among young specialists and the importance of scientific and educational cooperation between the University and the federal service for the exchange of experience and best practices in financial monitoring and security aimed at training highly qualified personnel.

Vladimir Ovchinnikov, First Deputy Director General of the ITMCFM, in his speech emphasized the importance of cooperation between the FinU, a leader in training in economics and finance, and the International Network Institute.

As part of the agreement signing program, the head of the Department of Economic Security and Risk Management of the FinU Igor Lebedev spoke about the achieved results of cooperation between the University, the Federal Service and the International Network Institute.

The FinU delegation also included Svetlana Bryukhovetskaya, Vice-Rector for Marketing and Working with Applicants, Ekaterina Bezsmertnaya, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Tatiana Kovalchuk, Head of the Department for Coordination of Entrepreneurial Initiatives and Work with Partners.
